From Struggle to Strength — Why I Do This Work
I didn't have it all figured out as a teenager. I was creative and curious, but I struggled in school, and at 14, I was diagnosed with dyslexia. At an age when so many young people already feel the pressure to perform and fit in, that diagnosis made everything feel harder and lonelier.
What I wish I'd had back then was someone in my corner, that wasnt just a parent or just academic support, but someone who truly understood how a young mind works, who could help me see my strengths, build my confidence, and figure out who I actually wanted to become.
That's exactly why I do this work now.
After years of building a life across three continents, co-founding an architecture practice and property renovation company, volunteering with elderly communities, and working closely with a youth charity, I made a pivotal career shift. I trained as a Licensed Adolescent Thrive Practitioner, diving deep into the neuroscience behind how teen brains develop and what young people actually need to flourish.
The turning point? Working with a buiness coach in my early 30s that fundamentally changed how I saw myself and approached everything. It was transformative.
And I thought: what if teenagers didn't have to wait until their 30s for that clarity?
Today, I work with teens to help them build confidence, resilience, and a real sense of direction , not just in school or career terms, but across every dimension of a meaningful life. I bring lived experience, professional training, and a genuine love of understanding people in every conversation.
Your teen doesn't have to figure it all out alone. And neither do you.
